How it's built to play

The Neuron MX LTD is Bullpadel's control flagship — a limited-edition version of Fede Chingotto's competition racket, finished in catrina-inspired Mexico Major graphics and stacked with every vibration-management technology Bullpadel makes. It sits in hybrid shape territory, which means the sweet spot sits just above center: more forgiving than a true diamond, more decisive than a round. At 365–375g with a low balance, this is a racket that prioritises speed through the air and shot accuracy over raw power generation — a deliberate choice, not a limitation.

The X-Tend Carbon 3K face is the defining construction decision. The 3K weave uses 3,000-filament carbon strands in a tight, dense pattern that produces a stiffer face than the more open 12K or 18K variants found on the Vertex line. In practice that means less trampoline effect and more direct energy transfer — what you give the ball is what it gets. The Smart Holes pattern reinforces this: by keeping the central face area free of holes, Bullpadel stiffens the hitting zone further, so contact feels firmer and the ball exits with less variability. The 3D Grain surface texture adds grip between ball and face, generating stronger spin on groundstrokes and slice — useful for a right-side player who wants to create angle rather than pace.

The frame is where the Neuron earns its identity. The Wave System wraps an undulating structure around the frame perimeter, alternating stiff and flexible zones so energy travels more smoothly from contact point to throat — reducing the sharp vibration spikes that plain carbon frames produce on off-centre hits. The Wave Bridge reinforces this by running a horizontal internal brace across the core, resisting torsion when the ball lands toward the edge of the face. The CarbonTube perimeter — 100% bidirectional carbon — keeps the frame walls from flexing under load, so the Wave System's controlled flex stays in the right places. On top of this, the Vibradrive rubber insert in the handle and the Hesacore honeycomb grip form two more vibration barriers before any energy reaches the player's hand. For a carbon-face racket, this is a genuinely low-risk arm profile.

On court the Neuron MX LTD plays most naturally from the right side. The low balance makes it fast to manoeuvre — short backswings on volleys feel effortless, and the racket doesn't pull forward on reaction shots the way a head-heavy diamond does. The Wave System's catapult behaviour is most noticeable on slower, defensive balls where you're redirecting pace rather than generating it: the frame gives back a little energy at the end of the stroke, which keeps the ball deep without needing a full swing. For a control racket, that's a meaningful difference from a purely dead-feeling defensive frame.

Where it pulls back is on aggressive overhead play. The low balance works against generating head momentum on smashes, and the 3K face's stiff precision means mishits on overheads don't get any assistance from the face flex. Left-side players who want to close points from above will find the Neuron MX LTD fighting their instincts. The Custom Weight system partially addresses this — adding the 5g or 10g aluminium plate into the handle lets you push balance even lower for more defensive handling, or leave it out to keep the stock feel — but it won't convert this racket into an attacker.
