Highlights

What makes this racket stand out

·

CloudEva core and Elastic Fiber face work together to maximise dwell time — the ball stays on the face longer, giving you more influence over direction and spin than a standard EVA build

·

Low balance at 365g keeps the head light and reactive — good for right-side players who need fast hands at the net without generating vibration on every volley

·

Ease Vibe dampeners, Hesacore Gel grip, and Vibradrive handle system create three separate vibration-absorption layers — unusually thorough for a racket at this price point

Our verdict

What the shape, core and construction tell us about how this racket is built to play.

The short version

The Neuron Cloud 25 is the right-side player's long-session racket — it keeps the arm fresh, makes consistent net play easy, and gives real spin options through the 3D Grain surface and Elastic Fiber face. The problem is the ceiling: CloudEva was designed to absorb impact, not amplify it, so players who want to transition toward a more attacking game will outgrow this faster than the hardware wears out. Buy it to play more, not to hit harder.

Strengths

+

Intermediate players on the right side who want to extend rallies and reset points consistently without arm fatigue

+

Players returning from elbow or wrist issues who need a low-risk build but don't want to drop back to a beginner racket

Keep in mind

Left-side attackers who finish points overhead — the soft CloudEva core and low balance will feel flat and underpowered on smashes

How it's built to play

The Neuron Cloud 25 is the comfort-oriented variant of Bullpadel's Neuron control line — the same hybrid shape and Wave System frame architecture as the standard Neuron, but with CloudEva foam and Elastic Fiber replacing harder materials to soften every contact point. The result is a racket that prioritises feel and arm protection above all else, which is either exactly what you need or a limitation depending on your playing style.

The Elastic Fiber face is Bullpadel's satin-braid fiberglass bonded with flexible epoxy resin — it flexes more than standard fibreglass on contact, which means the face wraps slightly around the ball rather than deflecting it. Combined with CloudEva, a low-density closed-cell EVA foam, the dwell time is noticeably longer than a hard EVA build. You get more time to shape the shot; you also get less raw power return. The CarbonTube frame runs around the perimeter in full carbon to keep the structure rigid and prevent the softness of the face and core from making the whole racket feel vague — it's the one stiff element in an otherwise compliance-focused build.

The Wave System frame geometry alternates stiff and flexible zones along the frame walls, which dissipates vibration rather than sending it straight to the arm. Wave Bridge adds a horizontal internal crossbar that resists torsion on off-centre hits — at 535 cm² playing surface, off-centre contact is inevitable at the intermediate level, and the bridge meaningfully reduces the unpleasant twist you'd otherwise feel. Ease Vibe inserts in four face holes absorb a further layer of shock. Vibradrive splits the handle with a high-elasticity rubber insert, and the Hesacore Gel grip's honeycomb surface reduces grip pressure. No single one of these is revolutionary; stacking all five into one racket is the real design decision here.

On ground strokes and net exchanges, the Neuron Cloud 25 is unusually soft to the touch for a 365g teardrop-adjacent hybrid. The low balance keeps the swing weight down so reaction volleys on the right side feel manageable, and the Elastic Fiber face gives touch shots a springy, responsive quality without the snap-back of a carbon face. The 3D Grain surface texture does real work — topspin and slice both register clearly on the ball, which matters for a control-oriented player trying to change direction or dip the ball at the feet.

Where it runs out of racket is on anything that requires generating pace from the swing alone. Overhead attempts feel muted — the CloudEva absorbs impact in exactly the situation where you want it to amplify. Players who occasionally step into the left side to finish a point will notice this immediately. The Custom Weight system (5g or 10g plates in the handle area) lets you add a little mass toward the butt for extra stability, but it moves balance lower still — helpful for control, unhelpful if you were hoping to add any overhead punch.

FAQ

The Neuron 02 uses a harder EVA core and a stiffer face material, which gives it more power return on aggressive shots and a crisper feel at contact. The Neuron Cloud 25 trades that directness for comfort — CloudEva and Elastic Fiber soften the response substantially, making it more arm-friendly but less explosive. If you play three or more times a week and have any elbow sensitivity, the Cloud version is worth the trade-off. If you're in good physical shape and want more from your smashes and volleys, the standard Neuron 02 is the better fit.

The Flow Light 25 is lighter and lower in balance, making it faster through the air and slightly easier to manoeuvre for smaller or lighter players. The Neuron Cloud 25 is heavier at 365g but brings more structural technology — Wave Bridge, Ease Vibe, Vibradrive, and Hesacore Gel — which makes it better equipped for players with arm concerns. If arm protection is your priority, the Neuron Cloud 25 stacks more comfort tech. If you simply want the lightest, most manoeuvrable option for quick net exchanges, the Flow Light is more straightforward.

It carries a low-risk profile for elbow sensitivity. The combination of CloudEva foam, Elastic Fiber face, Vibradrive handle, Ease Vibe dampeners, and low balance means vibration is absorbed at multiple points before reaching the arm. That said, no racket prevents injury — technique, grip tension, and session length all matter more. The Neuron Cloud 25 reduces vibration transmission meaningfully compared to a standard EVA and fiberglass build, which may help players managing elbow discomfort, but anyone dealing with an active injury should consult a physio before returning to court.

CloudEva is a low-density closed-cell EVA foam — softer and lighter than standard hard EVA. In practice, the ball compresses into the face slightly longer before releasing, which gives you more time to direct the shot and better feel on touch volleys and angled returns. The trade-off is that it absorbs some of the energy you'd get from a denser core, so smashes and power shots feel less explosive. It's a deliberate design choice toward comfort and control, not an attempt to split the difference.

The Custom Weight plates on the Neuron Cloud 25 are designed for the handle area, which adds mass low in the frame and moves balance even further toward the handle. That increases control and reduces swing weight — the opposite of what you'd want for a more attacking setup. The Custom Weight system on this model is designed to fine-tune a defensive, control-focused style, not to convert it into a power racket. If you want to play more aggressively, a different racket in the Neuron lineup — or stepping up to the Vertex series — is a better path than adding weight to the Neuron Cloud 25.
