Highlights

What makes this racket stand out

·

Total Channel runs the full perimeter — not just the throat — reducing air drag on the swing so the racket accelerates faster than a standard diamond at this weight

·

TriCarbon 18K face uses 18,000-filament tridirectional carbon that snaps back quickly after impact, converting swing speed into ball exit speed more efficiently than standard 3K or 12K weaves

·

Ease Vibe dampener inserts combined with Vibradrive handle absorption give this high-balance diamond a lower arm-stress profile than most competitors in its class — still not soft, but measurably less punishing on mishits

Our verdict

What the shape, core and construction tell us about how this racket is built to play.

The short version

The Hack 04 Premier is the right racket for a left-side attacker with reliable overhead technique and enough arm strength to control a high-balance diamond through a full session — its Total Channel aerodynamics and TriCarbon 18K face combine to produce finishing power that is genuinely faster-feeling than the 365–375g weight bracket implies. The problem is the margin: this is not a racket that covers your mishits, and anyone with elbow sensitivity should look elsewhere regardless of what the Ease Vibe and Vibradrive systems promise. Buy it because you want to finish points, not because the gold finish looks good on court.

Strengths

+

Left-side specialists with consistent overhead technique who want maximum swing acceleration without switching to a lighter frame

+

Advanced club players who generate their own pace and need the racket's response to keep up with fast exchanges at the net

Keep in mind

Players with elbow or shoulder history — this is a diamond with high balance, Carbon Tube stiffness, and a hard EVA core; three out of four high-risk factors are present regardless of the vibration-damping systems

How it's built to play

The Hack 04 Premier is a limited-edition version of Bullpadel's flagship attacking diamond, finished in gold tones for the Premier Padel circuit and associated with Paquito Navarro's signature. The spec sheet is identical to the standard Hack 04 — diamond shape, high balance, TriCarbon 18K face, MultiEVA core — so this is not a performance upgrade over the base model. What it is, is a fully loaded attacking platform in a collectible finish, and as a platform the Hack 04 is genuinely one of the most technically developed diamonds in Bullpadel's current range.

The most significant construction change in the Hack 04 generation is Total Channel — a hollow aerodynamic groove that now wraps the entire frame perimeter rather than just the throat area. Bullpadel's own data cites a 17% aerodynamics improvement and 7% stability gain versus a non-channelled frame; in practical terms, the racket head moves faster through the air for a given swing effort, which matters on overheads where the power window is narrow. The Carbon Tube frame — 100% bidirectional carbon throughout — keeps torsional flex minimal, so energy isn't lost to frame bend at contact. The TriCarbon 18K face compounds this: 18,000-filament carbon interwoven in three directions produces faster snap-back than the biaxial 12K construction on lower Hack models, meaning the face resets quicker and returns more energy to the ball. Underneath, the MultiEVA core runs two densities — a harder outer layer that responds sharply to fast-incoming balls and a softer inner layer that absorbs slower, control-oriented play — giving the racket more usable range than a single-density EVA block would. The Tricore internal structure increases vector thickness in the heart zone to reduce vibration resonance and keep the frame planted under high-torque smashes.

On the left side, the Hack 04 Premier does exactly what a high-balance diamond should: overheads arrive with less effort than the weight suggests, because the Total Channel and Air React Channel throat aerodynamics let the head accelerate through the ball rather than drag. The 3D Grain rough surface on the TriCarbon 18K face generates meaningful friction at contact — topspin lobs and slice bandejas carry genuine rotation, not just pace. Smart Holes reinforces the central face zone, which stiffens the sweet spot response and gives smashes a harder, drier feel — the ball leaves fast with very little sponge. The trade-off is that the small diamond sweet spot combined with the stiff carbon face means an off-centre hit at full swing sends a sharp jolt up the arm. Ease Vibe inserts and the Vibradrive handle system reduce this noticeably compared to the previous Hack generation, but they don't eliminate it. Players with the technique to find the sweet spot consistently will feel a direct, planted contact that communicates exactly where the ball hit — that feedback is precisely what advanced players pay for. Players still developing their timing will feel every mistake.

FAQ

The specs are identical — same diamond shape, same TriCarbon 18K face, same MultiEVA core, same Total Channel frame, same weight range. The Premier is a limited-edition colourway produced for the Premier Padel circuit, with Paquito Navarro's signature and a gold finish. If you're choosing purely on performance, the standard Hack 04 plays the same racket for less money. The Premier carries a price premium for the collectible design and circuit branding, not for any change in materials or construction.

Both are high-balance diamonds aimed at attacking players, but they're calibrated differently. The Vertex 04 uses X-Tend Carbon 12K — a biaxial weave optimised for rapid elastic snap-back and a slightly more forgiving response across the face. The Hack 04 Premier runs TriCarbon 18K — tridirectional carbon that is stiffer and more direct, rewarding clean technique with faster ball exit. If you play a physically aggressive game and hit through the ball on overheads, the Hack 04 Premier will feel more responsive. If you want slightly more margin on off-centre hits while keeping diamond-level power, the Vertex 04 is the better fit.

This racket combines four high-risk factors for arm stress: diamond shape, high balance, hard EVA core (MultiEVA outer layer), and a stiff carbon face. The Ease Vibe inserts and Vibradrive handle system do reduce transmitted vibration meaningfully — but they reduce it, they don't eliminate it. If you're returning from lateral epicondylitis or have ongoing elbow sensitivity, this is not the right racket. A round or teardrop shape with low balance, soft foam core, and fiberglass face will carry far lower risk. Come back to the Hack when your arm is fully recovered and your technique is consistent enough to find the sweet spot reliably.

Custom Weight lets you add adhesive aluminium plates to the frame's top section (up to four 3g plates) and a heavier cap insert at the handle end (5g or 10g). In total you can add up to 22g and shift the balance point by approximately ±1cm. Adding weight to the top increases head heaviness, which amplifies smash and overhead momentum but slows swing speed. Adding weight at the handle end pulls the balance point down, making the racket feel more neutral and faster through the air. For most Hack players, the stock configuration already sits at high balance — experiment with handle weight first before loading the head further.

The 'professional' label reflects that this is the racket Paquito Navarro competes with on the Premier Padel circuit — it's not a barrier to purchase. But the specs are genuinely demanding: a small sweet spot high in the head, stiff TriCarbon 18K face, and high balance require consistent technique to perform as intended. A strong advanced club player who plays on the left side, hits overheads confidently, and has been playing competitively for three or more years can get full value from this racket. Anyone still developing their court positioning or overhead timing will find the Hack 04 Premier working against them more often than it helps.
